A trend that we at PILATI have been observing for some time now is the importance of natural materials and haptics. Stone and marble in particular are being used more and more in interior design, but also in designer furniture and decorations.

Stone as a modern element that sets accents with its grain and color nuances and thus reflects clarity.

Old-fashioned travertine... quite the opposite

Travertine is a material that has a long tradition in Italy, but the way it is processed is new. The designers take the material and combine it with wood, bronze or suede to create a sensitive, almost soft design.

Accessories such as vases or bookends also create a cool, modern look that matches many furnishing styles and colors.

Don't see everything in black and white - or do you?

These minimalist works were handcrafted from marble and show that stone can also appear delicate and almost filigree. Each individual piece looks like a sculpture due to its shape and is definitely an eye-catcher in your rooms. With or without flowers, a beautiful and unusual alternative to crystal or glass vases and definitely a piece for eternity.

Unique marble

An armchair made of marble, that can't be right! This is the reaction when you see the works of art from the MGM Marri e Graniti manufactory and the artist Paolo Salvadè.

Whether as an armchair or a bench, the interplay of materials and the artistic processing of the marble can only amaze you. An armchair is carved out of a whole block of marble.
