LALIQUE at Pilati

130 years of history of a unique manufactory

“Savoir-vivre”, the French art of living – nothing expresses it better than the Lalique brand. It stands for the desire for beauty, the joy of life and for a world of luxury. Originally born from jewelry design, the French company now offers a wide range of luxury items. In addition to exclusive jewelry and perfume in the unique Lalique flacons, the portfolio contains elaborately designed and artistic decorative items as well as high-quality furniture and interior concepts. A special highlight of the Lalique collection is the innovative glass work, which goes back to the founder René Lalique.

René Lalique, born in 1860, developed two artistic passions early on: drawing and jewelry design. The young artist caused a sensation with his creative and innovative designs and Lalique was soon able to open his own workshops and jewelry stores in the most prestigious locations in the French capital. His collections in a characteristic and innovative design language found fans among the artistic and economic elite of France in the fin de siècle.

In 1911, Lalique presented an all-glass collection for the first time at the great Paris art and jewelery exhibition.

The focus was not only on art objects, but above all on the design of high-quality consumer goods. Lalique presented perfume bottles, glass accessories for interior design, crystal chandeliers, but also designs for glass hood ornaments for luxury automobiles.

Lalique has long since become an indispensable part of French cultural heritage

Lalique objects can be found in the largest art museums and design collections in the world, they fetch top prices at auctions and are coveted by international collectors.

You can also find selected pieces by Lalique at Pilati in Munich for 40 years. From vases and flacons to classic wine glasses and decanters. Of course, we would also be happy to advise you on your choice of Lalique furniture. Visit us at Amiraplatz, we look forward to your visit.
