"Munich Sotheby's Real Estate Polo Cup" at "La Tarde Polo Club"

First polo, then party - on June 29 and 30, 2024 at the "La Tarde Polo Club" in Holzkirchen near Munich and "Players Party" at the "Parkhotel Egerner Höfe" in Rottach-Egern. Roberto Blanco, Julia Tewaag, Enno von Ruffin, Susanne Seehofer, Lea Linster and many other prominent horse fans at the "Munich Sotheby's Real Estate Polo Cup" and the Players Party at Lake Tegernsee.

Polo and party - that was the program for many VIPs this weekend. The "Munich Sotheby's Real Estate Polo Cup" took place at the "La Tarde Polo Club" in Thann near Holzkirchen, where top players from all over the world competed and prominent guests were represented in the audience. The organizers, Helena Schoeller, daughter of PR expert Andrea Schoeller, and her husband, Argentinian professional polo player Juan Martin Sarli, the owners of the polo club, together with co-host Michael Reiss (Managing Director of "München I Sotheby's International Realty"), welcomed numerous prominent horse fans on both days of the tournament. Among them were Andreas Baron von Maltzan, GNTM participant Dominik Gruber, gallery owner Sarah Kronsbein and Uschi Glas' daughter Julia Tewaag.

On Saturday evening, the players went to Christian and Tanja Ehrmann's "Parkhotel Egerner Höfe" in Rottach-Egern on Lake Tegernsee, where networking expert Benjamin Bartz celebrated his 37th birthday - with well-wishers such as Roberto Blanco, Enno Baron von Ruffin, star chef Lea Linster and FDP politician Susanne Seehofer (daughter of Horst Seehofer). The guests then returned to the polo field on Sunday. So fitness was in demand....

Passion for polo: Helena Schoeller and Juan Martin Sarli bring Argentinian flair to Germany

Helena Schoeller and her husband Juan Martin Sarli organized the polo match for the fourth time. The Munich-born woman and the Argentinian, both passionate polo players, got to know each other through this sport. Juan Martin Sarli, who works as a vet and professional polo player, has been running his family's polo club near Buenos Aires for 18 years. From October to April, during the polo season in Argentina, they spend the winter months there. "We spend the other half of the year in Bavaria," says Helena. Their common goal is to make the sport of polo accessible to all interested parties: "With the 'La Tarde Polo Club', we want to bring the Argentinian polo feeling to Germany."

Roberto Blanco only came to the party on Saturday evening, invited by birthday boy Benjamin Bartz. At midnight, he sang the birthday serenade and gave a mini-concert. His wife Luzandra wasn't there as she was busy on Mallorca and had family visiting. "We commute between Mallorca and Lake Constance," explained Roberto Blanco. "I'm delighted to be here at Benji's birthday party on Lake Tegernsee."

Celebrity guests enjoy polo tournament and summer party: Susanne Seehofer and Julia Tewaag rave about unique event

Politician Susanne Seehofer and her husband, entrepreneur Christian Auer, were present both on the polo pitch and at the subsequent birthday party. "This is my first time at a polo tournament and I'm still learning the rules," said the politician with a laugh. "I've known Helena Schoeller and her mother Andrea for a very long time. It's great what they are doing here."

Julia Tewaag, daughter of Uschi Glas, brought her husband Tobias Frank and their two-year-old twin sons with her. "I've been to this polo tournament before, when I was heavily pregnant. I always like coming here because I went to school with Helena's sister Milana and love the atmosphere here."

Most of the ladies wore airy, floral summer dresses - it was the hottest day of the year so far - and some also wore hats, such as gallery owner Sarah Kronsbein. "Hats not only fit in well at an event like this, but are also very helpful in this heat. This is the third time I've been here and this event has become a firm fixture in my diary. It's a real highlight and you can tell that a lot of heart and soul goes into this event."
