Fall/winter trends of the Supersalone from Milan by PILATI

The entire design world has been eagerly awaiting the Milan Furniture Fair. For two years, we had to do without this place full of inspiration and ideas. So did we at PILATI.

Even though the trade fair only took place in a reduced form at the beginning of September as the "Supersalone", there was no need to miss out on a wealth of exciting and unusual trends and new concepts for the interior world. We have put together some of our highlight trends for your inspiration.

Unique pieces

The designs of many pieces of furniture are becoming very bold and "bold", which means that you can dare to place really striking unique pieces in some places. An eye-catcher, as they used to say. Today, however, it doesn't have to be quite so harmonious, the design break is desired. A piece of furniture as a sculpture, so to speak.

Reduction and sustainability

In many respects, it is very clear that the theme of "reduction" was the guiding principle of this year's Salone del Mobile. Less furniture is placed in the room and used much more consciously to create clear lines. In addition, fewer highly selected and sustainable materials are being used.

Through their reduction and natural materiality, the individual pieces of furniture take on a whole new meaning and are shown to better advantage, which naturally intensifies the eye for design.

Creative design solutions in the kitchen

In many respects, it is very clear that the theme of "reduction" was the guiding principle of this year's Salone del Mobile. Less furniture is placed in the room and used much more consciously to create clear lines. In addition, fewer highly selected and sustainable materials are being used.

How nice when you discover a design that immediately fascinates you and you start thinking about whether it could be your next dream kitchen.

We will be happy to support you if you would like to implement one or more of these trends in your home or if you would like advice. We look forward to your visit.

Yours, Pilar Salm née Pilati and Ennio Graf Pilati with team
